As the tyres will need some care during use I have just collected some bits to do that. A disc with drive flange and an an engine stand.

Just need to get some more nuts as the others are on the car.

Getting a jack under the car has always been fun.

New sleeve nuts ordered and wheels dropped of for paint and a recondition. Just a refresh no diamond cut finish just a acid clean. A mask off and paint.

Been dipped, will have a little selective blasting. Some masking and then paint.

Looks like I will collecting them in the morning. Then to start polishing the rims.

is 12mm enough? Think I will be back to the machine shop to machine the seats down 4mm so the boss thickness is the same as the sleeve nuts.

Is this faff typical of fitting revolutions?
I was thinking of fitting them to our project but seems its not straight forward.

It is not now as they have changed the fitting. 
if I had not decided to have the allycats I would not have had to change much. The 13s revs used a 50mm center boss. The bolts are NLA so I decided to use the new 46mm length 5/8 ones. Hopping I would not have to change much.

 

my issues are all to do with doing things my way 30 years ago.
