Subframe still not ready. Not too impressed. Almost a week later than said. ok the worker was off with some damage. But when they have missed coating the metal with the epoxy I wonder if he hurt his leg by being pissed up.
So I did some retail shopping at mini spares.

Subframe back off, so as to fit the rack.

Fitted the lower arms connected it all up. Need some weight in the engine bay so I can get the lower ball joints tight.

Then it was looking at front end fit..
Then I remembered what plans I have for the look. So off with the Fiberglass and alloy sheet.
Also pushed the front back an inch.
Might have to do some measuring on a real Mini to check fitment.

Looks like the delivery from MiniSpares should be here tomorrow.
So engine back together this weekend?
Or workout how to fit the ARBs? The rear will be fun as there is no subframe. The arms are not Mini and the track width is different. And I need yet more gas for the welder.

So the question no one has been able to answer with the rear brackets fit the Metro rear arms.
Should be fine with a little tickle with the grinder.

Ok so that will be fine. But what about mounting the rear bar? I have no subframe to mount it on......
Found two holes that are in about the right place.
Maybe...
No idea what the hole was there for
Might be a bit too far back.
We will see when I get the axles back in the arms.
