This Van looks sooo good. You have done amazing work with it

And now it's even harder for me not to buy one project van that I've been drooling over for ages....

Got the brake lines all bent and fitted, just need some proper clips to hold them on underneath. The hinges and bits are back from the bodyshop, but theres a couple of bits that are missing lacquer so they've got to go back. Did my minispares order today - got a load of bits and pieces coming, so hopefully I'll get it all put on this weekend.

oh sounds good, cant wait to see more developments on this, bending brake lines into shape so they look neat can be a pain

Its easy when you've got the proper tools :D The garage has got just about everything you could possibly imagine needing, and most of it is snap on.

propper tools, ya big fairy!!!

altho i do admit brake bending tools good in college

"strap"on tools are no good for personalisation tho, like needing to bend that spanner to get in that tight gap, too expensive would feel guilty

Cheers Lewis. It all seems to be going really well at the moment.

Had a big minispares order arrive today so I set to work fitting it all. So I've now got the front dampers fitted, new longer track rod ends, handbrake in place, pedal box built and fitted, and the front bumper. Not bad for two hours work. I've also ordered an adjustable front and rear suspension kit after fitting one to a friends car and seeing the difference it made.

And we also got the fuel tank in, which I thought would be a complete b1tch of a job. It went straight in with two of us to hold it. I slapped a good layer of waxoyl on the top of it as well so hopefully it won't rot out too quickly. Next job - fuel lines to the front and secure the brake lines under it. And fix the master cylinders to the bulkhead. I can hear the clevis pins calling to me already... >_<

Not a bloody chance! cars are for using, not cleaning. Every couple of months I'll get it up on the ramps and give it a quick clean off, but thats it.
