I think its 15mm, i'd have to go out and check though. Its armaflex insulation, its a foam rubber type stuff. For my floor I was gonna put some hardboard down, and if I go to a show pull the passenger seat out before I go, and have a little shelf there so I can sleep full length.

Havent tried to fit diagonally actually. But the seats come quite far back so I don't think I could. Saying that, the seats recline flat enough to get a perfectly good nights sleep in them (from a man who regularly sleeps in bucket seats... :) ) The pads on the sides are bodyline sound deadening pads - should be able to get em from a motor factors I think. They make a massive difference. Next problem is how I'm going to fit the panelling to the sides. Shouldnt be that hard though.

Will be watching carefully when you do...

As for sound deading, I am using Dynamt and thick, heavy carpet underlay.

I can fit nicely if I lay diagonally, with the low backs in, but I too will be going bucket seats, so not so sure how it will affect it.

Anyways, I'll stop hi-jacking now, keep up the good work sir!

I'm not dead or owt, but things have slowed down a tad. I've fitted the rear camber/tracking brackets, and minispares say they will have the rest of the adjustable suspension kit to me this week. The wiring has been causing me some real headaches though. Luckily I think I've found someone who can get it all wired up for me profesionally, which will make my life so much easier. Next thing really is to get the engine back here from the unit and throw that in....

Adjustable suspension is on:

And this is why minispares are right when they say poly bushes shouldn't be used on the bottom arms:

They've been on a few months, and its just been pushed back and forth a bit...

Yeah, I got the engine back here now, so all I need to do is whip the front end off and drop it in. May do it this weekend if I have chance.

Don't know to be honest mate. I'd really like to get to the L2B in it, but dunno if I'll trust it enough by then. It shouldnt really take me too much longer though - in theory. Need to plumb the engine in, sort the wiring out (not my problem any more - got someone who's gonna do that for me), bolt the doors on and get it running. Then quick tune up, suspension setup by icklemini and we'll be rolling...

Sounds so simple when I put it like that....

I know that feeling!

The amount of teething problems I am having with mine is doing my head in! Its all simple on paper, till you find the timing is out, then u have no sprak, then ur fuel pump dies... lol

Anyways, u better not have it on the road before mine goes back on the tarmac, otherwise I won't be happy :)
