Got the gear shift mechanism all bolted up tight, and the handbrake tightened up and adjusted. 'Tis getting to a point now where it really needs a sparky to come and wire it all up. Test flight soonish, methinks....

Ordered my exhaust system today, and also some headlights from min-its. Got the holes in the bulkhead for the heater pipes, and all I need now is a bit of heater hose to connect it all up. Its looking good...

Just rubber, I'm not enough of a tart to get silicon. And it was expensive enough as it was - £47 for the bottom hose...

Got home from a couple of days working in Scarborough tonight, and there was a nice parcel from Mr Maniflow...


So without further ado:




Exhaust is all done, I've got the chrome tip on as well now. I love maniflow - it all went together in about 20 minutes, then we just had to mess about and make a bracket to hang it from the rear subby. I also got one of the sparkys on the site we were working at to put some crimps on my battery cable, so thats all done and connected up now, just need some clips to hold it up. I'm going to get one of those sealed batteries as well, dont want it venting in there when I'm sleeping in it! Hopefully the electrician will be coming to make a start tomorrow as well so everythings really coming together now.

Needn't sound so surprised mate!

Got lots done today - most of the wiring is figured out, just the switches, stalks and dash to do now really. The battery cable is clipped up onto the floor, brakes are totally finished, heater is all plumbed in, engine steady has new bushes, fitted the engine earth strap, replaced two rocker studs that got a tad bent when I lefted the engine in , filled the engine with oil and did a load of other little bits and pieces. I'm knackered now!
