very probably bungle, but theres NO way I could have figured it out myself. Although all the bits I did at the back end worked when we tested them, and Dad's wiring on the flip front was perfect as well, so we didnt do too badly!

Been working on it till late almost every night for the last week, except sunday. I'm absolutely knackered! :proud:

Anyway - sprayed inner arches black, plus all the little bits around the edges you can see through gaps in the wood. Put some plastic under the floor to stop it rattling when I'm going along, and screwed it all down. I've cut ally strips and screwed them onto the bits I had to add around the arches. Looks quite neat, I think. I also folded a bit and screwed down across the rear door to stop the plywood getting all chewed up.

i might have missed a post somewhere, but what are the cut-outs in the ply floor peace for? they look like removable sections, above where the battery and spare wheel originally lived.

this is truly an awesome job matey. I hope I spot it in the flesh at one of the shows this summer.

Ta people! David - I reckon I'll just give it some coats of matt varnish to protect it a bit. May also stain the sides a bit because they're a lighter wood, but I'll see. Kingcreaky - The one where the battery was still holds the battery, and will have tools and jack in it as well if theres room. The other one is the masterstroke though ;D I lined it with insulation boards so I can use it as a beer cooler for shows :D

Got in tonight and went for getting the side panels fitted properly -

All screwed up tight, except the back edges now. I'll fold some more brackets for those on friday. We connected the rear loom to the front yesterday, so when I put the connectors on for the pic of the battery box, I just tried the sidelights and the rear ones work as well :)

Oh, and the heated seats arent actually heated... :P Got some switches for them yesterday, then I traced the wires back and realised they actually went to the seat belts. Must have been for a warning light or something. Ah well, means theres less wiring to figure out in it anyway...
