Yep, dogs right - maniflow phase 2 LCB with a 1 7/8" single box system.

Rad cowl painted, realised I forgot to order the ruber bushes for the top bracket though

Heater is all done now

Today started of pretty C**p, went to RS components to get the connectors for the flip front and they were wrong. Their website is utterly cack unless you are a fully trained sparky. Sorted now though, I'll be going to pick up some better ones tomorrow. Theres also something wrong with the radiator cowl - its a long way out - think we'll have to make up a bracket to hold it in position properly.

Things went a little better tonight though - I got wood




And (just connected up to a battery to test it, but still)



Its looking like a proper car again now!

The headlamps are wipac freeforms, heard good things about them, so I thought I'd give em a whirl. Got some halfrauds extra bright bulbs in them as well (god bless my trade card - should have been £9 each, trade they were only 4 quid!) and they're bloody bright!

I've got a sheet of thin ply to do the sides with as well, but I need to make some brackets up to hold it properly. Also the sparky *should* be coming on saturday!

Cool news about the sparkie. The lights looked like P400s in one of the pics. I think you should look at Amy and syholls minivan, wooden floor in the back mmmmmmm very nice.

Had another 'mare today with the stupid bloody connectors for the flip front. In the end I gave up with RS and fancy plugs and went and got 4 lawnmower connectors, worked a treat! :



Also got both the sides cut and trimmed to fit, just need to make brackets now:



You can just see the flaps in the floor as well - I've screwed the panels down onto them and bored a big hole in them so you can lift them up easily. Need to take it all out now and go round the edges with a can of matt black to make it all look smart.
