Probably a bit late in the project now but if you need any electrical bits like packs of crimp terminals, fuseboxes, fuses, fuseholders, heat shrink tubing etc click the green text in my signature, free postage for TMF members

Fitted a pair of LED lights in the back:

Also bolted the seats down, which was a fiddly job, but all done now. Dad changed the needles and springs in the carbs - the old needles were HUGE! probably explains why it was running so C**p... I've fitted AAA needles now as recommended by AC Dodd. I fitted a secondary fusebox on the passenger side as well, and it all works

Next up, the sparky who helped me do the rest of it dropped me some connectors off for the dash, so I've attacked that. I've got over half of them soldered together now, but its surprising how many there are - 36 wires to connect

Van looks mint mate, think the grin on your face says it all. But still wont be as big as the smile on your face when your driving down to L2B.

Anyway, been another busy two days. Yesterday I pulled it out of the garage to give the blue one a service, which took a while. Had to replace a CV gator that had split, but that was about it. After that we built the doors up for the van. What a horrible, nasty job that is. If I do it again its definately getting mk3 doors put on it. Also had a nice big sheet of polycarbonate turn up so we got the back window cut to size. Today I went and got it tinted, fitted the window, fitted mpi sound deadening behind the dash and got the dash fitting right. Not a bad days work!
Pimp my ride:

Dash all fitted and it all works now

Right, ashes to ashes is on!
