And mart (this is gonna get confusing... ) I've not tried running it up again, but I will be checking the fuel pressure next time. I dont think its that though, its only a standard mech pump. I was watching it, and the glass filter drained out, then the engine sped up like it was running out of fuel, then it coughed and spurted a load of fuel out. I think it may have been sucking a bit of air through from the tank, which then vented over. I'll stick another few cans on there before we run it next time as well.

Its a cooper 500 style jobbie, nicest one that was on ebay at the time I was looking. I'll figure something out for the wires, we've got this far with it!

Yeah, the column cowl is going to need "adjusting" to fit. When I say adjust, I mean lash a chunk off with the hacksaw

Not really any progress worthy of pictures yet, just working on neatening bits up and adding the finishing touches to the wiring. I've made a pod to hold the switches which will cover the hole left by the mpi fusebox in the carpet. The steering wheel is all done now as well, sometimes I amaze even myself All will be revealed shortly...
