Going back to the engine spec Dog, that sounds absolutely spot on, and exactly what I would have gone for was I not blinded by dreams of high rpm and big power. Torque's what it's all about, and 7000 miles later I really wished I'd gone for torque over power, as my straight-cut box was like new but my high revving 1293 was shagged!!

The MSPD cams are amazing, AC Dodd reckons the Phs2 and Phs3 cams are the best profiles on the market at the moment, so you should have a little cracker of an engine, all the components complement each other perfectly, and from experience I'd suggest an Orange diaphragm with AP race plate would be fine, its actually not that harsh, just a little heavy, and very positive. Fit a braided clutch hose and you'll have no worries.

Nice one on getting the front end off, I'm gonna watch this project closely, its great to see someone doing it properly! :errr:

Thanks dude!! :errr:

Well, I might take the motor out this weekend, so I can touch up all the bodges, and get the filler out.

All i need to do atm is;

Finish the rear Valance,
Grind, and weld the passanger lower rear quarter panel,
Touch up the grinding on the front,
Finish off the door steps,
Fit the drivers side sill,
Patch a hole in the drivers floor pan,
Finish cutting the rear seat out,

So not much, just takes time, and with the night getting darker quicker now, I can't do alot after work, like I was :dozing:

The weekend is looking busy!!

I have some VERY VERY VERY powerful degreeser!
When its neat, it'll strip natural oils from your hands, and your hands will NEVER be able to get the oil back!

Basically, it eats greese, oil grinme n road "poo!"... so will hopefully basically fall off....!

But hopefully... I'll get it all cleaned up, and start marking out where I need to cut the bulkhead...

Talk about p***ing on ones campfire >:genius:

ahh not the worst seen, you can order a repare pannel that will fit over that, its a full length to the bottom jobbie so the rest can be used to plate the vent

Aye I know the panel, but as I am going to plate the hole in, I am going fabricate a bit out of sheet steel, and get it to fit...

as I know the repo panel doesn't quite fit...

The repo panel flinch panels you can buy DO NOT fit very well, either that or I got a C**p one and it would only just cover that hole anyways.
