Still seems wierd why, you have the PAY to get IN wales!
Maybe cus there's only one race stupid enough to pay the charge, where better a place to charge than on their own door step?
(joking for anyone i've offended (i'm part welsh myself).)

Door skins are still a "test" yet, so they might not even come about!
The smoothly bonnet, is basically a MK1 bonnet, with no holes, or "ridge" so a totally flat bonnet....
The front, is a 2 peice jobbie, made comeletely out of Kevler... this will inc the A panels, but as I am using steel a panels as I need to fit my exturnal hinges... I am going to chop it off where it needs to be.
I only went Kevler because Smudger done such a good deal on it all.... worked out about the same price as steel....!
Hes an awesome bloke!

Showing weave looks like unfnished bodywork!
In total with the Front end, basically a 2 peice front end, its cost me about £250, but the price can vary!
The bonnet is an expeiment atm, if it turns out ok, then Smudger is making one form me out of GRP, and one out of CF exposed weave, tot see if they sell! I just faniced something a little different.... not majorly, but something...

Recived a few items in the post today!
First of all, my Mk1 lights, that I got off ebay, and actully found it was an ex member (Plamer)! So managed to get them "off" ebay, for £30! In really good nick too!!

and secondly, I owe a few beers to a extreamly good member! Nick the Greek! (aka Steve)
I sent him a dash design, only wanted a quote at the time, then I just reciveded a PM asking if I wanted it doing... I had the money, so I said yeh why not!
He done some in his lunch hour, some on a Saturday! I mean a Chippy working on a Saturday!!
But I am glad I did part with my money! The work manship on the dash, is fenomanal! the fitting instructions are really easy to follow, even tells you have it all goes together!
This was the plan, that I had, I wanted it too look different...

Heres a few pics of it all built... I do need to cover it, I am thinking, Black Vinyl for the main part of the dash, and Orange vinyl for the raised bit in the middle... with maybe a Chrome strip running down the centre!

So Nick, its AWESOME!!!!

And dog.. if you've not painted the needle already why not paint it orange and just dip the point in the glow in the dark paint?

They are one colour in the day, and a small UV LED will make them glow orange/red at night!
I might even deceied to make a custom needle up... as its not eactully hard... so might make a clear perspex one, with a very small, LED in the end, to make the needle glow.... all in all, this part is still under construction, and havn't deceided how I am hacing yet, but it won't be long before I decided.

Might even go proper rero and get a Smiths rev counter... Then I am going to bolt it onto the cage.
I just need to find a matching set of Smiths AUX dials!
