What are you doing front wise? Glass, std steel or steel flip!
I think i'll be going for a steel flip lifting from the front as in

Pm me your mobile number, and I can give ya a bleep, when I need some grub or a coffee lol

I am not going for either of that... I am going for Kevlar front, with a CF exposed weave bonnet...
I do like the idea of making the front flip up like that, but this only the first full rebuild I've done, so I'm not going all out on it... so going for the normal flippy (removable) front...

But I do have some rather tasty plans brewing for when this Mini is due for a rebuild :w00t:

Tom, you'll soon see my Mini about, it'll be on my Club stand... along with a few other rather nice tasty Minis...

Well my phone has been in for repair...
but here the updates!

Subframe has been painted and rebuilt, using the Minispares geometary kit...
Rebuilt the master cylinders, and painted them...
Started to strip the sound proofing out, ready for red oxiding...

I also rebuilt my HIF44, and tuning the Manifold slightly...
I've also ordered 4 new ball joints, a full enigne gasket kit, I've also just got a quote for a crank reginde and hone, for £150-£200....

anyways, heres the pics...

And you only painted the bits of the subframe that are on show? Lazy git!

I've not had chance to make your boot cover yet, but it WILL be done for Bingley. Nothing like cutting it fine :-

Isnt the turbo carb different to a normal HIF44? My uncle has a full setup that he may sell if your interested dude.

Yep painted the bit people will see lol!

Full setup you say? What you calling a full setup? get me on MSN, and we'll talk!....

And yes a Turbo HIF44 is slightly different to a NA Hif44... I'll be runing my normal 1275 that I'm going to rebuild, until I get the funds to do something better, and more fun! lol

Cage starting to going in...
Posted Image

Started to drill a hole for the bolt to go in, and from yesterdays painting, I poured some red Oxide down one of the seams, and well it hasn't dried yet, so when the drill went in, the paint started to come out.... it looked like my Mini was bleeding!! :'( :'(

Posted Image
Put one of my seats in, and I like the seats on the floor, only problem I have is the gearshift and handbrake... they both need moving back...

With the seat on the floor, this is my eye veiw... (camrea is at my eye level....) Nice and low :-
