Cages are gits to fit!!

Got the front part in, start the rear, then the drill went flat :D But theres one bolt on lol!

Will continue the cage next weekend, and I'm going to strip and rebuild my engine in 2 weeks, soon as my new cam arrives...

I realised when I fitted the cage that I needed to paint the headlining... Doh!!! Oh well, I better goo at masking up! lol

Yeah, cages ARE a pai to fit. The rear is the worst especially if you still have the rear bins.

Best advice I've heard about fitting a rear cage is to take out your rear quarter windows, and use ratchet straps to bring the rear legs together.

what about crank bearings? big end bearings? oil pump? thrust washers?

No point rebuilding it to take it apart due to the big end or crank knocking.

Centre main strap wouldnt go amiss either.

This is a budget build Jordie!

I've still got to sorce all the crank bearings... I'll check the thrust washers... got the pump, it came with the cam :D
Anyone know where I can get the Big end and crank bearings? and new 1275 Piston rings... ?
