Hi,

I'm now starting to reassemble my mk1 after what seems like forever.

I have a new wiring loom sat in place but I'm not sure how to route the cable that links the loom (near the instrument cluster connections) to the battery at the floor start switch underneath the floor. Not sure whether it runs back out from behind the cluster down the engine bay and underneath (sounds wrong to me) or some other way.

Can anyone describe, or better, provide a picture?

Cheers

On my '63 Super Delux the starter cable exited the cabin just above the floor mounted dip switch. Note the black wires passing trough the grommet above the switch in the picture below.
