Ok so here is where I am now, babies slow things down alot!

And after, god I love blasting. Its got to be one of the most satifying jobs out there - like power hosing!

Exhaust and disks in phosphoric acid first. You can see the pitting on the disks after being left uncoated for only one day, I'd say they would have been fully rusty again in 3 - 4 days!

 

 

Then heat resistant paint for both. Will add pics soon.

Into my friends booth for some more epoxy mastic onto  the subframes and suspension bits:

 

 

 

 

Absolutely chuffed with the finish, its not perfectly smooth everywhere but is as tough as nails + old boots.

Matching colours off my local ESB van thanks to my neighbor Ray!

This colour is same as this:

 Im going a slight shade darker with a little more pop. This is a Dupont code for anyone interested. Shade is close to RAL Signal Yellow.

Going nuts with the seam sealer! The lads were a bit heavy handed on the underside to be honest but eforevery neat in all the right places.
