Hello,

Iv'e recently replaced the engine in my 1973 mini (was 850cc now 1000cc A+) and after about 200 miles or so i have noticed a noise that i believe is coming from the clutch (that's where it sound like it's coming from) when the revs reach about 2000 rpm and above, so i took the clutch cover off (verto clutch) and noticed the thrust bearing was loose on the plunger (looser than it should be) and that it had seized, so i assumed that this was the noise but when i rebuilt it and started up the engine it was still making the same noise. i filmed it but the noise hasn't come out very clear in the video. https://youtu.be/0hRpHDMCcEg

I didn't notice anything out of place while the cover was off but it looks like i might have missed something.

Anyone got an idea as to what may be causing this noise?

Thanks in advance,

Jamie.
