I think most of you know what its abuot, i was so excited last night, i txt a load of you.

Well last night i bit the bullet and yes.......bought Sammy D's engine.

Yes the stage 6 slark 12g295 head and pocketed block!!

I am going down to Portsmouth to pick it up at the end of the month, and will then get the block dipped and cleaned, get the bores checked then deck the block and also get it honed.

The head is;

A 12G295 stage 6 head with double valve springs, brass alloy valve guides with no sideways movement, all polished and ported with a recent skim. All the work done by Slark Race Engineering with thier stamp of aproval.
The exhaust valves measure 28.5mm and the inlet valves measure 34mm.

if you cant get down there, give us a shout might be able trundle down hes only half hr from me, then could bring it to rivi run..

you'd get a slark head honest! just may not be a stg6 ..

Ill probably invest in a new crank, and ill be getting some +60 pistons from minispares shortly.

Sorry the block has been rebored to +60, so its a 1048, SO the 998=100bhp is not going to happen as its not a 1048

So how abuot a 1048 with 110bhp?? might even get 120bhp!

spoke to roger today, i was out with an old friend last night and was driving through worcester at 00:15 when i saw Ed (with the zetec festa) flying abuot, but didnt see anyone else, roger said they had all gone and ed stayed abuot 20mins longer then went!!
