Hi

So I have a 1990 studio 2 and have been working on it over lockdown and the one thing I cant seem to get working is the fog light, and the switch also doesn't work. I'm just stuck for ideas for what it could be.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Check there is power into the switch from the main lighting switch. Then bridge the wires to test the circuit and bulb

hopefully you're aware that to get power to the fog light the headlights have to be on ?

Like other have mentioned get a meter and check you got power to switch first , then you could link out and that would prove switch , I would recommend getting a power probe for around £20 you can quickly fault find as you can put power on bulb then put power on outgoing or switch etc , you can do all this with out one but easy over than linking out stuff ??

On my cars, it is usually the fuse on the bulkhead that is to blame; they get a bit manky, sufficient to stop current flowing.

I have the same problem with mine. Re adjusting the relevant inline fuse behind the carburettor cures it for a while.
