Hi beeps, help needed.
It seems the gearbox had a pretty hard live in my 20k mls (!) Inno, with a (previously not so well welded) cracked casing. Due to impact through the Inno sump guard
Almost every bearing with spalling or broken cages. The layshaft worn out, a broken final drive gear bolt just loosely held in place by the tab-washer and a reverse gear that looks like some rodent’s been nibbling on it.

I am very unwilling to re-use this reverse idler, but haven't found a replacement at the usual suspects - they are 'N.L.A' at MS and out-of-stock at Minisport.
Options:
- find a used one in good nick - has anyone here got one spare?
- going the OTT route of metal spraying and regrinding the existing one.
What is your opinion and experience? Is this wear something not so unusual? Any good advice wellcome as this currently is a bit of a spanner in the works of the gearbox rebuild.
