so I've taken the frame off the front of the mini, so its starting to look like a car again.

now I've put the rear  subframe on, and started to fit the radius arms, just waiting for some new backplates before I can get the wheal bearings and brakes back on.

Not a lot to report, Ive got the suspension back on. I have had an Issue with the back O/S radius arm, Its was seized but I managed with a lot of effort ( me and A big Hammer) to get the Old shaft out, amazingly the brass bush was fine, so greased the new shaft and fitted it.

But when I fitted the radius arm, the back wheel is slightly out of line, I did purchase another arm, but this is the same, so I will need to shim this side. The N/S is perfect.

anyway Im now on to the Megga sanding and flatting phase

Thanks guys.

I decided to get someone to do the doors for me. Anyway after a bit of messing about I got them fitted and the gaps dont seem to bad. So Ive just painted the doors.

So now I need to get the rear wiring loom sorted, then I'll fit a new roof lining.

not the best job to do if you have a bit of arthritis in your hands, my wife will be cutting my meals up for me for a week. even with the little tool, getting the silver strip in was a nightmare.

door glass is looking great, the whole thing is coming along great actually :)  I always feel that re-installing Glass is one of those things that is a milestone towards completion, along with light fitting, and engine starting.

thanks yeh, its coming along, but now its all the little bits that take time.

Anyway just put the engine in

saw someone who made the engine bracket for lifting the engine. So made one. in the first picture the u-bracket keeps the engine level. in the 2nd picture ive moved the silver u-bracket to the other side, it puts the engine at the correct angle to put the engine in.

easy to make and worth it if your taking the engine in or out.

so been busy. Ive put the fuel tank in and and new fuel line in and the brake lines and brake and clutch reservoir in. the exhaust has also been fitted.

Now just getting all the bits on the engine, or trying to, there's a few bits that I'm not sure of yet.
