Beautiful colour! just caught up with this project, the DVR3 regulator is a work of art! something very satisfying about good electronics on a classic for me.

I fitted one of these to my Minor engine. Sourced off eBay a few years ago but don't know if they are still available.

Thanks all of you
I found locally this one. Do I remember correctly that all threads should be 1/8 NPT ?

I was stupid enough to not check the brake light switch before lift-in the engine : of course it's not working.
Short-circuited the terminals at the switch the lamp lights-up.
Is it possible that an air bubble in the switch causes this ?

The brake light switch behind the pedal can sometimes go bad, and the replacements don't last particularly long due to poor reproduction parts, and they're just plastic crap anyway!
Someone here has fitted a better switch from a more modern-ish car,... ah. Here's the link -

This car will have an hydraulic brake light switch, the original switches were pretty reliable.

I have heard of this happening, Just needs the switch loosening enough to see a dribble of fluid.
