Thank you, i'm very pleased with how the parts and colours came together. I may paint the wheels gloss black though, we'll see i'm not sold on the silver. still need bumpers, headliner, glass, fill up the doors with window winders etc.!

Well got the front doors in, nice new door furniture, put in all the extra carpet pieces, leaving the main ones out until the headlinings in. also, got a radio, its an old AM/FM but I will not be drilling for an antenna, as the gentleman i got it form modifies them to put an auxilary input jack into it, so I can listen to my Ipod but have the retro look! Pretty cool. I tried to find a fitting kit for it, but the spacing of the holes was off, so rather than modify the plastic one that didn't look too great, i made my own faceplate/mounting bracket out of aluminium. Sprayed it crackle black, should look good! Wired the speakers in series, as its a mono radio, so the resistance adds up now! I'll do the final install on Tuesday. Heres a few more pictures.

More youngsters should get in to this sort a thing. I live right smack dab in the middle of Brum and most 13 years olds round here are weeing in telephone boxes or stealing car stereos >:)

Your parents should be dead proud of ya. DOing something productive and spending your time and money wisely. This will be ace when its finsihed. A proper achievement and i cant wait to see it!!! Good on ya!!!!

Flippin eck, im only 25 and im sounding 52 :ermm:

i am only 16 an iv nearly finished my mini project :)

More little things done, got the dome light door switches wired up, radio in, dash panels in, had to redo one pin on the tach, bumpers on. the rear one i was lucky enough to get free, as it had been incorrectly drilled for corner bars, but the black plugs aren't really noticeable. I may replace it at alater date. got the arch rubber on, and I also ran a strip underneath the valences, you don't really see it but i felt it cleaned up that line. I had more pics of the front, but my brother deleted them off the camera...excellent. I also picked up a stick on radio antenna, as I don't want to drill holes, and i'll see if it gets reception uner the upper dash bar. if not maybe i'll put in on the rear parcel shelf or something. I was going to just have no radio, but I like it when everything works!

Yeah I am! the shop is Miles Import Car. Spent 6 hours on the headliner today. getting it up into place was fine, but getting it stretched and non wrinkled is an absolute nightmare. With Ken's help I managed to get the section from the B pillar back very nice, I'll tackle the front another day!

Thank you!

Got the headliner finished yesterday, going on a 5 day vacation between christmas and new years, so it'll have lots of time for the glue to cure, then I'll trim the edges and install all the rubbers and windows. Also, i realized I wired my internal antenna into the same power as the radio, except the radio has a switch, so the antenna would drain the battery. so i found a switch that was originally on the car, wired it all up, and it works, except the antenna seems to work without the power applied to it...i believe it is powered for a dB boost, thats what the package says, so i left the switch in, maybe if i start getting poor reception in an area I'll turn it on and it could possibly improve. Anyways, thats the progress so far! Merry Christmas to all.
