yeah, that's what i'm looking at doing, except for Mk1 style. thanks for the link, I'm most likely going to do it like that, though grey minis can look good with a black roof too...but I'm still doing that style. all black interior too, even though it's going to be mk1, I'm not shelling out for all mk1 interior bits!!!thanks again aron

well only a couple weeks of school left, haven't been to the shop for 2 weeks, to work on the engine, but it's still moving along well, i think. The shell is erm still sitting in the garage, the school may take it next year, may have to go elsewhere, or pay out  hopefully not. I really hope i can get it done for free. but on saturday i get to go work on the engine some more, so theres a plus. Can't do work on the mini, a)if i do the brakes or suspensinon, is something breaks, it can't roll into a bodyshop. and b)my brother's car is being worked on in the garage, and it blocks the mini...

went in today, started stripping the paint off of the Head...no pics, brother has the camera somewhere :teehee: but after work/engine building, i stopped at a soon closing MG and Triumph specialist, and he has a set of black Triumph GT seats, in teh car which is done, and they're ok, driver's side has a slight tear, in the bolster seam, and the passenger one is a bit worse for wear but....$80 for the pair (40 pounds) so not bad. there's also some tan midget seats but hey're not really what i'm looking for, and $120 for the pair (60 pounds)

Well, went in today, and worked on the engine. Got the head onto the block, got the rockers on, bolted everything down, and but on the rocker cover to keep out the dust. Looking further towards completion. And on the bodywork side of things, the shop teacher just thought that, to be honest, the class was a bunch of assholes, who didn't deserve to work on a mini, and when the right group comes, the mini's bodywork will be done! so good news there. Well heres the pics!

Hello all, today i did the valve clearances, and then got pics of the GT6 seats! now the thing with the is...the inside bolster is screwed onto the centre tunnel, so does anybody know if I could replicate this on a mini, even with a bracket or something? here's the pics anyway.

yeah, i just got to find a way to get the inner bolster screwed onto the mini...it'll get done :P but i don't know if I'll get both, or just the drivers (left side) as the passenger is entirely missing the inner bolster...which is really jsut upholstered cardboard...so I'll probalby gett he matchign seat and jsut make them fit :shifty:

...no...because I can't do any brake or suspension work until the bodywork is done (hopefully in Sept. or Oct.) because I'll break stuff as I take it off (it's inevitable) and I want it to roll into the bodyshop...so that's unexciting. I'm looking for wheels though...might be getting mambas
