I've Just Been Reading Through This And To Put It Finely, I'm :gimme: Disgusted With You Shorty.

If I Found Out Someone Was Selling A Ringed Car, I Would Report Them Within A Heart Beat. It's People Like You Who Are Blatently Ignorant To The Law And For Being Ignorant YOU Are Then A Part Of Our Illegal Car Ringing Problem.

Now If You Didn't Know Me Or My Real Name And I Sold You A Car For £x,000 That Was Ringed, Then Vosa/Dvla Clocked On About The Transaction They Will Say;

"Oh Sorry Your Car Is Ringed So Were Taking It Away And Crushing It"

Would You Be Happy, I Think Not!

Any Right Minded Person Should Enforce This Policy Of Reporting Ringed Cars.

Oh And Your Quote;
"i wont be lossing anything from this site just getting away from a bunch of :crazy: who grass on people!!!"

If That's How You Feel About People On A Family Forum, The I Advise You Resign From Your Account.

OK people, I have just banned Minishorty from the site after he sent me a PM entitled 'Pr**k' and the content 'Yes'.

He was firstly being offensive, and secondly accusing me of something I haven't done. If anyone has a problem with this, please PM me and we will get the ban lifted.

Thanks,

Matt.

It happens all over the web, we know its wrong.

I dont think reporting people to the VOSA/DVLA is a job for the forum members, but i think closing and removal of V5 and ID selling topics is a good idea.

Just my 2 pennies.

exactly.... theres no need to "grass" on people, but we shouldnt be condoning it either, so close the topics, pm the people telling them its wrong.... job done.

Wooo what a large can of worms!

Yes ban the sale of individual V5s on here. Every little helps yeah?
As to reporting peoples cars without contacting seller/seeing the vehicle for yourselves (thats in the flesh not on some website) is very much wrong and I don't agree with it.

Yes Liam, I wholeheartedly agree, though it is a very difficult and sensitive area.

but when is a mini ringed ?

mrs bungles 65 car is in a MK3 body we know its the wrong shell but we don't try a pretend its a total original car

the insurance company don't have a problem with it and most people can tell the difference

it still has the central speedo 998 engine and 10 inch wheels

when the car was reshelled there were different rules its only been tightened up after the free road tax on classics's

does this mean her car should be crushed ?

i do think Miniworld and Minimag etc should not feature car's that have had a reshell in the last few years unless its a bmh shell

seems like every month you read my 1970 shell was beyond repair so i picked up this 2002 shell and used that
