RAz, If you have the chance to buy molly back, do it! The old girl has life in her yet, if she only gets a cat C. Fight for a cat C if they write her off!! The rest of the panels can prolly be popped out to a "useable" state.
Maybe some kind TMF'ers could lend a hand to fix molly?
SS
yeah SS is right i think molly's saveable too, might need a few new panels and a bit of hard work but can be done, im sure theres hundreds of people on here that are up for the challenge!! including me!!

i'm sure you can buy a complete heritage roof skin!... just depends if the subframe has pushed the floor up badly!
hope you guys arent to stiff today!

At least you're all safe and well hey

If you want to know if you're car is truely repairable you gotta see if the cars straight, there's a bit in haynes to show you how to do this, basically i think you measure all the diagonals under the car!? You don't want to be driving the car forward, looking out of the passenger window - mad4minis knows all about that

good luck getting it all sorted

. I know i can learn, but i had only just learnt a few weeks ago how to change the oil filter and the wheel!!! And 2) I dont have a garage, Molly is just sitting on my drive, and she is all opren etc now, need to cover her so she doesnt get rained on. hmmmmmm i just want to hide away in the corner somewhere..over there >> lol!

if you did want to do it, then i'd start by ripping the roof with A/B/C posts of mini from the scrapyard.. get a new windscreen panel from somerford or bmh. i've got a pair of sound doors i might be selling soon,... new front panel and drivers side wing..... cant really say without seeing the car though!. if the subframe is ok and hasnt pushed the floor up to bad then might be do-able...
its not going to be cheap im afraid raz....... if you could rally up like 20 peeps from here and do a Dream Cars type blitz over a weekend, that might be fun...lol the 1st Annual Save A Mini From The Scrapie Rally!!...
hehe ....

Seeing it again now its not half as bad as i thought it was considering just one side is majorly damaged....
The repairs have started by succesfully pulling the car back to being square using a truck winch!!! Before being pulled out the drivers side door wasnt shutting in the right position....now it is....
Just a case of stripping down and replacing body work....thrash out floor and see what the subframe looks like...
