OK, well when they ring with a valuation, remember you don't have to accept it! They are a business out to pay out as little as possible!
Are you allowed to take parts off the car? If so, get stripping!

when you talk to the insurance company see if you can buy the car back from them, then you can strip it and put the bits on to your new mini. good luck Aaron

I was about to say the same - see if you can buy her back.
Dad wrote a car off and was allowed to buy it back for £75... it's worth a shot?
