Hi guys... been a while... lack of mony has put a slow down on this but fingers crossed it should be heading for a kick up the arse over the next month or so... anyhow small update

lessons learned of recent,

Do NOT touch the mk1 bootlid from heritage. Its rubbish poorly pressed and not even straight. going to cost quite a bit to get it put right. pics to follow

unfortunately ive got no choice but to use it as i have no other mk1 bootlids to hand.

... in other news.

I have a big box of parts here today...

2 x Inner CV joints,
1 x clutch master Cylinder,
1 x boot lid catch cord
2 x boot lid catch cord screws
4 x boot lid hinge screws
4 x boot lid hinge nuts
1 x boot lid hinge swingy thingy for a mk1.
and finaly

2 x door seals.

Nothing particularly exciting... but still something.. need to save now to get my calipers, and alsoa brake master and brake bias valve... which will leave the braking system complete. which i guess will be a bit step.

9 out of 10 to minispares on the bootlid issue, as they did there best in trying to resolve the issue with heritage over the quality of the panel. They lost the 1 point for still having it on their website as a "direct replacement" which the quality is no where near good enough for. As said.. Pics to follow.
