like the video mate, just out of interest, what was that mini you was up against? that has some serious 1st and 2nd gear oomph.

I have no idea to be honest, it was nippy though! my run was 14 seconds and he just ******* off! for some reason i seem to think it might have been 4wd, maybe cossie?

Got a 6 day weekend for Easter so hoping to get the subframes off and maybe start poking the rust to see how bad it all is.

Had a bit of time in the garage tonight and it's now 99% stripped, just a few little bits to take out now.

Looks like i'm going to be thrown in at the deep end learning to do bodywork that's for sure!

Both sills have been filled with expanding foam by the looks of it. Door steps are rotten, bottoms of the B posts are rotten, rear quarter bottoms are rotten, flitches are rotten, air vent holes are rotten.
Still more investigating to do, then i'll decide what to do with the shell i guess.

Dude, that shell isn't bad at all, it looks pretty original. The inner sills still have the carpet clips on them as well.

Thats a good shell to work on, maybe shell out and get it blasted that way you know what you've got, but it doesn't look a huge job to do.

I am tempted to get it blasted actually, just need to find somewhere and get it trailered etc too. Will poke some more over the weekend and see how it goes..
