got a slightly different plan to get it down to avon this year. Will be back up and running properly in time for MITP though hopefully.

Big thanks to kean who's loaned me his engine thats been sat in his garage for a while since it came out of the estate. It's pretty similar to mine spec wise (head/cam) but running forged pistons and a lower CR (8:1) so i'll bolt it onto my gearbox and bolt up my turbo/carb etc and give it a whirl

dropped the oil out of mine last night and its safe to say the head is foooked...

old one out and pretty much stripped last night, just gotta lift the block off the gearbox and do the swap over the weekend.

not much to report of late, not driven the car since the bottom hose blew up in July. Made a new one out of steel in the week and took her in for an MOT this morning which she passed first time!!!

Hopefully my new head should be here in the week so might pull this engine out in the morning ready for my own to go back in. Booked in for a rolling road shootout and RWYB on the 1st/2nd of Oct so want my own engine in really to give it a try at 25psi....

Then it'll be getting stripped over the winter and getting the bodywork sorted with a little bit of weight loss hopefully

well she's back on the roads properly, get to spend this weekend tweaking the fuelling and making a polycarb sunroof ready for the rollers next weekend

Haha, yeah i've not really done anything to it since that update so haven't posted anything.

I did get her onto the rollers at the start of October for a turbominis RR day (its in this months mini mag) only got 190hp @ 20psi as she's getting really old and smokey now, need to build a new bottom end when it finally goes pop.
Went to santa pod the day after but only managed one low boost run as a tester then on my next one at full boost i blew an intercooler hose on the line so gave up and nursed my hangover instead, lol.
