Tell them your a member of TMF, you may have to give them your username, and also tell them that you go to mini shows and get Mini World magazine every month (but no on subscription),

Well just to let you no im 22 have a 1.3i cooper and have alloys and stage one kit and arches declared, because thats it and im with "hic" and on third party and 1yrs no claims i pay £650 i did mention tmf, but they didnt do anything about that for %15 but i did say i go to shows. I did ask about sticking a turbo on and it was another 100 on top of that. So we'll see next year.

Can anybody recommend an insurer that will insure 18yr olds on modified cars?

I rang miniworld insurance just to check, but theyre 19 and over as was thought.

My current insurers wont insure it because its engine has been changed on the V5....

So im stuck!

Going to give Adrian Flux a quick ring, if they cant, then im not sure i could do it?

There must be some people, ring all the insurers in mini mags surley one of them will insure you. You could always try and insure it as a "Works Van"

I was just thinking perhaps i could ask my work, see if they can stick it on their policy  And i'll pay the difference

I couldnt insure it as a works van, because it started life as an estate not a van.
