i tried telling them i have been there twice as my sewer pipe runs into her manhole, then back across my garden and i had to make sure it wasn't blocked, the second time was to clear some spoil which had fallen off the digger on to the drive..... The wall has been unsafe since we've been here and nearly went over when i took some tree roots out last year.. told neighbor i was doing it and that if it damaged the wall i would rebuild it and if the removal of the roots damaged her drive that i would re-lay her drive.... they are basically trying to say that i should have waited for her to come back before starting groundworks....

Your sewer pipe runs into her man hole :withstupid: . Is your wife ok with you having a relationship like that with your next door neighbour?? lol

Soak away, new drain connections have been dug, inspected and back filled, the rear garden has been top soiled and will be turfed next week. The final bit of footings will be dug and poured tommorow morning and the rear of the building will be started as we finally have bricklayers arriving...
the pile of mud should be cleared from the drive tommorow and the rest of the footings finished up to damp proof course by the end of saturday, subfloors and oversite due for monday.

more pics to follow

I reckon i could fit all of the WOMBAT crew in your garden, our minis on the front garden and on next doors pathways, blaring music, burn out contest, wet tee shirt, and have the WOMBAT inauguration Barbecue and christen your new house mate. Brilliant. then stumble into town, fall on to the 100 bus and back home to carterton for tea.

Ace. good work mate. Who were you sleeping with at witney council then?? to get plans passed for a functional building that would improve the area and value of a house. thats a near miracle. a one bedroom assylum centre to house a million illegal immigrants. now that would be passed and built in a week.

keep up the building mate, but dont forget the beast.

sounds like a plan ted!!!!!!!!

We were away for the weekend, the whole build is up to damp proof and blinding and oversight has been done, the cable for the hot tub is ready to be connected both ends... won't be filled up until the turf is down and the decking is done though.... Probably half way through june... then we deffinatley will be having a party.

Cant believe you are blocking off access to the rear garden. I would have left the drive in and built a garage at the bottom. You could have the mini in the garage and a couple on the drive, with plenty of parking for guests.

Looks like its coming on well though.
