Got my brake pipes and calipers on today Should'nt be long before the bodywork starts

Bit of an update, no pictures thou. The minis now at the bodyshop having new panels and paintwork, The brakes have been rebled and the clutch rebled with a proper bleed pump, so all is well again. Buying a freeflow manifold from Jack marshal and a moustache surround on monday, so when the mini comes back it should all come together nicely! Expect pictures, and lots of them when it comes back.

Spent a fair amount of money on the mini today

Brought 2 MK1 rear lamps, RC40 single box system with link pipe an fitting kit, Minisport water heated Inlet, MK1 Austin grille and moustache. Just need an airfilter and new plugs when it comes back. Can't wait.

No new pictures, Mini's still at the body shop which I'm abit gutted about but it can't be helped.

Brought my wheels and tyres yesterday thou, 10x6J revolutions with Yoko A008's. Yummmmmmmmm.

Can't wait to give this a good drive round some country lanes Will handle like a beauty

Yaay, Came this morning on the posties bike. Can't wait for the mini to come back from body work now, just need some cooper S discs now!

Check list of things to do when the car gets back, for my use, read it if you wish

Before MITP

Order the new 7.5 brakes, halogen lights, steering wheel, boss and new fog lamp
Fit grille and surround
Fit lights & Indicators
Fit rear lights, wire them up too
Bumpers
Fit Manifold and mid pipe and back box
Fit new Inlet
New air filter
Paint rear subby
Fit new foglamp

MOT and tracking

Fit chrome wipers and other bits
Fit new dash
Paint top and bottom rail covers black
Remove all soundproofing, the foam type
Remove all soundproofing on the rear bench and paint it
Remove trim from the back end
Secure seats and Harnesses in
Fit new steering wheel boss and wheel
Put the cooper brakes on, bleed
Fit Revo's/ and paint centers


Not much then

Then after MITP

Remove all soundproofing from the floor, Paint the floor and carpet the front.

I've been assured the car will be back this week. Hope so, Been gone 5 weeks this week

Just thrashed the card abit more

Cooper S calipers, drive flanges and discs, stainless foglamp for the back.

Brought these off ebay the other night too, 12" mountney classic wheel and boss with lowering bracket.

Took a trip to the bodyshop yesterday with 2 of the wheels to see if the wing needs cutting and they don't at all Just goign to push the wheel back to make sure they don't rub on the front. Those adjustable tie bars where a good buy The car should be back either tomorow or saturday, painted with the mk1 adapters in, whole new front end with a panels, ariel hole welded over and smoothed.

Going to buy some new shocks at MITP aswell I think, something like Gaz or Spax should be a nice addition.
