Now Katie was built to be thrashed, and as such she becomes a high maintenance bird, unlike you women who require lots of hand bags, shoes and cuddles, Katie just requires the odd part being replaced, the odd wash and a little tinkering lol.
DOn't worry I have decided tomorrow afternoon wel maybe Wednesday will be dedicated to Katie
Now how is that little clubby feller of yours comming along? is he almost done yet?

Mr Kirk, your incessant misogynism never ceases to astound me. It's like thousands of tiny little Bernard Mannings hanging by their teeth from my ovaries.
Now quit yer yappin' & get Katie fixed up & back on the road.
Tommy the clubby is nowhere near done......

What do I need to check before she goes in for her poking?
Fluids are all fine, lights & other electrics appear to be all fine, she drives, she accelerates, she stops.
Last year she failed on brake effort at the rear. At the moment, she brakes fast & hard in a straight line in the dry. In the wet, however, she's all over the place, and desperately wants to be several lanes to the right, even if there aren't any lanes for her to be in.
I think she'll plobly fail again, but it would be good to check anything that can be quickly sorted to prevent raising the hackles of the tester.

It is Matilda's MOT tomorrow. I can't quite believe that a year has gone by so quickly, but there you go, life's like that.

She's not dangerous, and she's off to a mini-friendly garage, so dat's fine. Just wondered if there's anything else I need to do before she goes in?

Any excess of oil on the sump and driveshaft.
Rust in the boot around the suspension.
Any excess movement around the hubs (but it will need to be on a ramp to check this properly)
And finally, have a quick peak at the brakes. eg pads and discs.
