[img]Truck, Truck, Mini[img]

Why is the mini on a truck which is then on a flatbed?

Did the transit breakdown?? lol

Cheaper transport FTW.
The guy was coming past my way with that truck already on so picked the shell up on the way making the shipping half the price.

Great rebuild! wish I could afford a new shell for mine. Could have almost cried for you when i saw the stuffed rear end. Seems to be a common accident with Mini's these days.

Looks great with the MkII rear lights, I've got them on my 94 sprite, just need to convert to 10's now to get the full retro look.

Update, this weekend i tackled the rear radius arms. The recon ones were busted.

You can see the passenger wheel is bent out at the top, two new recon radius arms later and it was fixed. Also started work tidying up the interior, will sort some pics out when its finished. Engines done 250 miles now and great fun to drive.

hi, nice rebuild
im currently building a 93 mini rio and was wondering where you got the sound deadening from
mine still has the originl stuff but i want all new as it got damp when the previous owner had it parked in a bush

i like the look of this stuff, is it self adhesive?

Wow, just read this from the start. You seem to be very good at rebuilding Minis. :-

Any chance you could link me to where you got that clear weather shield from please?

The tyres are 032r's Fronts lasted me 2k before being warn out but are very good!

Also avoid the clear weather shield... it broke in 2 months maybe sooner as it used to be a weekend toy and when i came to check the oil before a run it was broke. Saying that the blue one i have now hasnt even lasted a year.

2,000 miles! Christ, but yeah they look quality :-

What happened to the set of Black & white numberplates you had to go on, and the GB center caps?

I still have the GB center caps on the wheels...

With the B&W plates... they are in front of me... got some classic plates instead.
