Probably going to let this die for a while until I've saved up some money.

But a few quick queries before I do :).

1) I've sorted the blowing from the exhaust which was the u-bolt over the manifold/down pipe, since then performance has been increased slightly, I feel I can accelerate faster & she pulls better up hills, would this make sense?

2) Since I've tightened the u-bolt, the knocking under the nearside has increased, Dad said it could be the exhaust & since I've tightened the bolt I've tightened the exhaust in the wrong position, so whenever the engine moves the exhaust does to, in turn making a knocking noise, & again, would this make sense?

Cheers :strongsad:.

For number 1 it is a definate yes. The engine needs a fully functioning exhaust to have maximum power. I think it may have been losing power due to pumping losses? I wouldn't quote me on it though.

But for number 2 i'm not so sure. I suppose you could get it up on ramps and turn the engine over and take a look underneath. Might be able to see where it's hitting if you rev the engine.

It's a shame ya gunna lie low for a bit bud.

Kool new sig by the way :strongsad:.

Cheers mate :strongsad: will take a good luck underneath when I get chance.

& cheers again ;) managed to get Photoshop back up and running so I thought it was about time, knuckling down with my college work for now though and for the next year.

My theory is;

The harder I work now, the more money I've got to spend on my mini when I'm older.

Simple as that :).

Speculate to accumulate.

Kinda catchy :strongsad:.

Learning PS is pretty easy, get yourself a copy and just play around with it! I do Graphic Design at college so I use it everyday.

So where are you at with your mini, still learning to drive?

I do chemical engineering so it's a world away from PS lol. I'll see if my sister has some books on it. I'm pretty sure she will. If it comes down to it i'll get her to teach me the basics lol.

I've been driving for 2 years bud, but i didn't get a mini when i first passed because i didn't have enough money plus my dad works away so he said he wanted me to have something reliable incase it broke down when he was away ... hence ... the yaris lol.

I've been trying to find a good one locally but i can't seem to find one, or when i do find one, the people don't get back to me:(.

Ahh, I get you! Best of luck with finding one! anything in mind, colour, style? & how much have you got to spend if you don't mind me asking?

Considered buying a cheap wreck and restoring it?

Cheers bud :strongsad:. Erm...probably red or blue for the colour bud, but if a cool colour comes up then i don't mind. Stylewise anything that looks sporty and classic really. Nah no bother bud, for buying the car itself i've got around the 2500 mark, maybe a bit more if it's a really good example.

At first i wanted to buy a wreck and restore it but my dad still works away so he needs the garage for his car when he goes :). I just can't wait to get one. Wanted one since i was 16 4 years ago lol.

Bit of a clean up and a polish today, but a very good one, think I've been out for about 4 hours or something.

Everything has been cleaned on the interior, painted the door bins too. As for the exterior, all the chrome & of course the metal work has been polished up & waxed.

Deciding what to do next really, a good offer has come up on a MK1 2 skin fiberglass boot, which is verrry tempting, still in it's white gel coat too. Back to college in 2 weeks and 1 day so the holidays are running out.

Looking good luke, that mini meet is on tonight, but I'm not going with the way my mini is acting at the moment, but I think James and James are going.
