Oh okay mate! Not to worry, I dropped the bloke on Turbominis a pm so hopefully he'll get back to me soon.

Front flip should be arriving soon but it's not gonna fit under the Christmas tree :)

Thinking about buying these for my new lights, Lucas P700. They cost twice as much as the ones I was originally going to get (http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=37818) but they're really nice and I don't think I've ever seen them on a mini before, I know people do have them.. but I mean I haven't seen any.

Well I've been packing in the overtime lately at Tesco and grabbing all the extra hours I can, I get paid the day after Christmas :dontgetit: but the problem is that any work I do the week before that won't be counted for :P and I'll get that money in late January.. so I won't be able to buy all the parts as soon as I can, which shouldn't be a problem anyway because the extension isn't finished yet so I can't use the garage!

I just wanted the bits sitting in my room so I could play with them :mrcool: but I think what I will do is start buying the bits and assembling everything on the flip front, numberplate, cut the holes for lights.. fit the lights etc.. grille, bumper and whatever else.

Just be careful... I did that once, ordered a crap ton of parts and overwhelmed myself. Always fun to see the pile of parts though. Decide on the lights yet?

Well I need all the parts & panels ready for when I cut the front off, then I can do it all as soon as possible & I'm not waiting for things to come in the post. It's a daily drive so I'd need it back as soon as possible.

Yup, I think I will go for the P700s, they are different and so so nice. Twice as much as the ones I wanted but considering how long they will last it doesn't seem that much extra.

Anyway, I've got another 9 hour shift starting at 9 so I'd better go ;).

I don't need special headlight bowls & surrounds do I? The normal standard ones should fit fine I hope.

They look good man. I found a thread on how to make your own brace bars in the FAQ bit bud. It's in the misc section i think. I'll check now.

The hinges look good. Guess just order the lights and see what needs to happen?

Yeah I might ring the bloke up whose selling them on ebay and ask him about it, it'd seem silly to spend 60 odd notes on them and then find out I need special bits to fit them.. I'm sure they'll be fine though.

Man I'm so excited about everything now :dontgetit:

Question, I'll have a garage to use so a dry and safe place to store her overnight. I'll be cutting the wings off for the front flip & replacing the inner wings, door hinge panels & scuttle etc.. will it be easier to drop the engine & subframe out, so I can work? I'd give the bulkhead a well needed clean down and spray it all black or something, I know it's in a right state now! Is that a big job? I can't see it being that tricky.
