Payment should be clearing soon also for the lights, stickers & hinges so I should have some nice parcels arriving at the start of the new year

Going to see if I can get Ben across to weld these lights in when he's got time.

Just had a trip into town but I couldn't push it and really test/bed the new brakes in because it was dark, foggy & freezing! Oh and Dad was sat beside me being a constant co-pilot

Spent the day across at Grandads, my Dad borrowed a van from work & we loaded up 2 old Motorbikes and then the remains of a 3rd, so I took the opportunity to scurry through his Aladdin's cave of a garage and find some good bits, came across a Lucas spotlamp which I'm going to clean up, could somehow use this! I was thinking of a clamp onto the gutter, I wouldn't use it all the time, just for shows and such. Couple of Leyland boxes with gators & rear view mirrors in, a Britax rear light from a Motorbike I think?

Couple of pictures here and I'll send the rest to my Dad, I might him to stick them up in the 'Any Other Projects' section, I'm sure plenty of people would be interested!

Oh and I modded my exhaust with one from a motorbike, think this is the same at a stage 1 kit? :-

Nah there was probably about 5 in total! but most of them were designed for motorbikes, this was the only one that was a stand alone type lamp.

Thats a shame, if you had a pair, they would have looked nice on the grille.

Yeah that's true :- I'm thinking the gutter idea would be a good one, if I don't use it then it can sit in the garage and just look pretty. Seemed a shame to see it lying around not being much use.

Yer, or just have it in the middle of your grille, seen some minis like that, not sure how it would look though lol.

That's the numberplate light for a bike, if Dad doesn't use it I'm thinking turn it upside down and fit a MK1 boot, it would sit nicely in the recess for the light!
