>_<

Nah not having the garage space doesn't bother me at the moment, haven't got the money :( gives me time to iron out some problems before I get round to the bodywork.

Stuck at college today so I can't work on the mini ;) came in on my day off to get my work done before we start back, gonna get as much done today as possible so I can spend the day on her tomorrow :) also payday so I can order some nice little bits for the interior.. just need something to fiddle with & keep doing otherwise I'll loose interest with her just sitting there for the next month.

Oh and another thing.. I'm contemplating buying an RC40 exhaust system (lcb included) 'cause at the moment there is a horrible noise coming from the engine when I accelerate too much.. ever since I fitted the K&N air filter, at first I just thought it was a loud 'rasping' noise from the filter, but Dad has now convinced me it's something to do with Abnormal Combustion, I haven't got a clue what that means but I know it's not good.. my guess is that the air filter is sucking too much air in and the standard exhaust is far too restrictive which is causing a build up of gasses & making the engine work overtime? I've also got the Stage 1 needed fitted, AAK? I think..

You've fitted the needle, but have you had it setup since? (Rolling Road setup I mean)

Nope.. seems pointless at the moment, seeing as after I do the bodywork I'll be tuning the engine.. just a bit worried I'm gonna kill the engine at the moment, just need the change the mixture though?

You could be right about the exhaust. I'd just change it now and then you don't need to change it later on.

I'd pay for the rolling road just to get it set up properly once you have put the exhaust on. Will be a lot better for your engine if you get it set up properly aswell.

Not really got much done today..

+ wired up the center binnacle a bit more.. getting there! some things still not working and I can't believe I'm taking so long to do something so simple..

+ sprayed the radio holder black.

+ wired the stereo & speakers back in.

I'm having massive difficulties in trying to get the dash liner & tray to fit.. just won't fit around the hoses so I bet I'll end up butchering the liner & tray to get things to fit better.. I want to get the wiring spot on & the speedo put in before I mount the binnacle to the bulkhead then once that's in place it gives me something to work around so I can fit the tray & liner..

Uploading pictures whilst I go and get ready for work.

Todays task is to see if I can re-route the heater hoses through the blanking plate which is where on LHD drive cars the brake & clutch master should sit, like on the picture below, but obviously on the other side.
