More progress done today, not alot though, Im itching to finish putting the switch panel and bottom dash rail in so I can fit the steering column but need to get a choke cable and I'm going to wait until the mini show on sunday so...

But theres still stuff to do, Ive fitted the one painted brake drum and have finished painting the other side, hopefully (fingers crossed) I can fit the rear subframe on friday.

Managed to re-spray my clock binacle, bought this from MITP in 2004/5 (mini 45) for this project but due to putting the project on hold its sat in the cubboard for 4 years. So today I blew the dust of it and sprayed it, the mini city has grey dash rails and clock binacle, but I like the black dash rails (also bought from MITP in 04) so needed to spray the clocks to match, also swapped the speedos over so the milage was right. And I had a fiddle with the speedo with the wrong mileage and managed to change it to the correct mileage (not needed though, but I know for the future).

Some pictures from today.

lol. Actually the original mileage from the car they come off was 37561 but mines only done 35770 so instead of messing with the mileage I just swapped the speedos over (then messed with the mileage on the other one I swapped it with ;D).

Done some cutting back yesterday and today, just around areas where ive got to fit lights etc, but couldn't help doing the passenger wing and front panel , once I start polishing I cant stop :D.

Some areas i've had to re-flat so ive just got to blow some paint over those areas tomorrow (not a biggie :o).
