Tired tongiht so having a rest, nothing i can do realy untill i get the rest done on sunday. I snapped a bolt in the manifold bit the one that holds the clip that holds the throttle cable anyway of fixing this ? ? ?

Your going to need the bracket I fear tried this myself without the clip throttle release well didn't release, its just the heat shield if I remember? Could weld it but perhaps it may be easier to remove the carb and replace the heat shield.

Coming on nicely finally getting that welding done too which is good!

Erm i dont know if its the bit im on about is this bit, Might just get a bit of metal welded onto it and use that to unscrew it will see in sunday

Went round today im bored lol. Cut the roof off and did abit of fiberglassing also had to respray my allys because they has chips and paint all over them lol so redoing um heres some pics

Lol .. Yeh stig's one, hes dropping it off on saturday and im paying cash in hand for it saves looking for a sun roof seal wich i could'nt find

I think the mini is going to be set back abit longer, im looking to get a daily driver and its getting to the point where i cant afford it. Dont worry im not giving up no way not when ive got this far just a few more weeks to wait thats all

Looking good frankie, I would've measured a nice straight line and cut it more carefully, and left a little more roof on to be honest, especially around the front window frame.

Been in the garage to do the alloys all masked up and ready for first coat got 2 done with a first coat. Thats all i can do at the moment no money for anything at the moment. Found a new way of masking put it on and cut it off lol

Yep, erm hopefully this tue or wed depending on my wage to be honest. yeh there was some confusion i didnt get my wage on friday so couldnt buy the roof i explained to STIG and he said i let him down o well.

Just got the fiberglass roof will probably fit tommorow for x-mas erm ill get some of the welding done tommorow too probably she will be done for my bday i think
