Maybe its not a removable front, just skimme this thread and didn't see him say it's removable.

you mentioned the unitary structure ? yet yo have removed the door bins , part of the rear seat , boot floor and the wings between the wheel centres , are you sure this is legal , minis at gurston in the mod production class have all got this , they have had to replace many of the items as like you they had removed them , if youve had msa clarification on this fair enough ,keep up the good work

Hi all, not updated this thread for ages.. forgot about it to be fair.

The car is getting very close to completion now, will sort sum photo etc sum time soon.

Retro 10's --- The front arches are cut up the middle yes.

Mini Mad 69 ---- There has been a change of plan the 1380 is now a 1380 16V twin cam engine with pretty much everything you can get, running DTA and launch control

5portsrock --- With regaurds that, in my championship it all seems to be ok, they say rear bins are not unitary (they dont do anything strutural).

The MSA book says rear seat can be removed, i have only removed the boot floor past the wheel hub centres... half of the spare wheel well is still there lol and also it says inner wings can be removed.

hi, just been reading the thread now (although I should be getting ready for college lol)
Have to say that you've done a cracking job - the car looks amazing. I've always wondered what it'd be like to do a hillclimb, and would like to do one in a mini. What are the different classes?

There are onbly really 2 classes that you could enter a mini in... standard road up to 1400cc or modified production up to 1400cc.

Will hopefully get some new photos of what ive done today... its loads different!

it does say that it is going to be removable and that the arches will be cut, great motor hey
