and an especially big thanks to David, Hannah and Danny for leading me in the convoy - i had no idea where i was going.

Was nice to meet ya mate, hope you were ok getting down to Brighton we seemed to lose everyone in Croydon then got nearly flattened by 3 other cars, including a BMW mini on the run (absolute ****), in traffic near the purley way

Big thanks to Wilson for leading us up to CP as we would never of found it on our own, was a cracking day, my gf really enjoyed her first L2B and I'm tempted to get back into minis after a long time away

yeah they are lovely. this pulled in to the service station we were in on the way home no bonet on lol then we went and a bit later on the motorway it went zooming past us lol

I had a fantasic time, managed to get some Mini bits quite cheap and had a good laugh.

We spent 2 hours cooking food at CP in the end, nice to chat to a few TMF people who came over.

Only problem we had was the traffic down the A23, took us nearly three hours to get to Brighton.

Even the friend I bought along had a really good time and he's not even in to Minis.

Took me three hrs too - traffic through croydon was "insert expletives here" and the locals were trying to bully you out on the merging sections which really annoyed me because mine was threating to boil up!.

Think i will find my own route through croydon next year - twas crazy!!

Saw your car MM i was about 10 cars behind you parked up - i had "the weber made me do it!" across the rear screen

What an awesome weekend! Got the van loaded up friday evening with beer, food and wheels:


Went down to ML motorsport early on saturday, where AC Dodd kindly informed me my engine is on its way out. While I was there I spotted this festering heap err, fine specimen:

I said I'd take it off his hands for a fiver but they reckoned it was worth slightly more than that.

Went for a cream tea in maidstone with a couple of the guys off 'finity, then head for CP. On the way there it stopped raining, and that after that it was dry really. Somehow within about 10 minutes of me arriving Pie was busy spanking David with a curly-wurly


Had a wicked night with all the TMF'ers that were there, really nice to meet a load of new faces. Finally got into my bed (read- passenger seat) about 1 AM I think. Then stuck the car in the queue at sometime just after 4. David was ever-so-slightly the worse for wear in the morning:


I didnt get many pictures of cars, everyone else seems to do that much better than me so I just hoover up the good ones off photobucket later! Did get a couple of the queue at CP and brighton though:



Got home ok, after much red bull! Went to my mini club, and on the way home my lights died! At least it had the courtesy to break near home I suppose...
