Wow I would love to have access to a 3D printer.

Here's my HPI RS4 mini with a Tamiya body. I've also got about 13 other cars that I haven't got pics of.

Seems like the place to ask

Was into RC stuff years ago and had a Kysho Lazer ZX (probably too old for some of you peeps!) still got the old schmacher attack R radio gear in the loft.

Anyway thinking about getting back into it but want a nitro buggy or truggy but not sure what I should be looking for other than I always think bigger engine the better !

All the ones I've so far come pre built but I would prefer a kit, do they come as a kit??

Can anybody recommend a kit or I'd even consider a 2nd hand one in decent condition

cheers

Ian

Hey Ian,

I'd recomend a HPI rush evo

You can get them really cheap (try ebay) and are nice and simple with the .15 engine 9from what i can remember. You could always fit a beasty .32 in it if you want a bit more poke.

for a buggy you want to be getting something like a hyper7.. they come in kit or rtr.. there are mmannnnnnyyy variations on this model.. i think theres a hyper 8 and 8.5 now, but the 7's have been around longest and im pretty sure the parts are interchangable.
You can put a silly quick engine in them, or stick with the 21's that come with them :)
Have a look around, also, if your getting a truck, find an LST 2 or savage.. and uhhmm.. truggy, for just bashing and things, the one hotbodies do is alright, parts are cheap too!
theres a good site i use.. i think its www.modelsport.co.uk .. yep thats the one, take a looky and if you need help, feel free to pm me

No no no no nooo!! i wouldnt touch them with a big long poo stick! we had SO many of them come in for repairs when i worked in the shop.. anything bigger than a .18 engine and you will kill the clutch or diff :)

at the moment i have about 15 rc cars
3 of them are minis
3 nitro and 12 electric ones
but my favourite is my associated rc18t with a brushless motor in it
its pretty fun trying to control something the size of a shoe doing well over 60 mph on a bumpy road
it usually ends in me hitting a curb or car wheel and then looking for all of the bits that have exploded from the point of impact. :)

i prefer my zagi though (thats an rc glider) because i have put a big motor on it so it can fly vertically up as far as you can see and it adds another dimension to the challenge of controlling it

by the way every car is for sale and i also have a rc helicopter for sale.
if your interested pm me.
