That is someones pride and joy that someone has put their hard earned money and work into
How would you feel if you found a thread with loads of people making fun out of what you had done to your mini?
Think about what your posting before you post

Elisha beat me to it, posting that one! Its not tacky - its just plain horrible. I don't care what the owner thinks - they obviously know its not going to be universally loved. If someone on a forum was slating my cars, I really couldnt care less. I do it for me, not the popular opinion of an interweb forum.
really?
your van sucks.
no,its no good, its lovely, I want your van............

There are things that can make any car tacky, BUT these items on the right cars can still belong even if they are not to the taste of everyone.
Thats what makes the mini scene the best car scene in the world.... Its individuality and the diversity of styles and owners.
Some of the most blinging cars on the show circuit may make some people sick but that very same person may get turned on by a mint 59 standard... its just individuality.
Most of my cars have had all the parts listed as tacky in this thread... BUT I dont care

I have loads of fun with my minis and invite people to enjoy my creations at events and shows, sometimes I get some very positive responses and sometimes when I stand back in the crowds and just listen I can pick out the negatives too. But thats just the fun of it.
I feel that posting a persons car to invite ridicule is just rude, how can you call yourself a true mini fan?
All minis in all shapes, sizes and designs even the ones with individual tastes are still minis. The owners deserve the same respect weather they have got a £200 titred city e or a £10k concours stunner.
Come on guys threads like this dont make the "scene" look a friendly place to new comers.
Each to there own... Anyone remeber the beatles mini with the hatchback? I love it but I bet there are some who dont...
The mini is about having fun and enjoying the friendly atmoshphere at the shows away from the MAXPOWER crew and constant talk of stabbing each other lol
You will never find me on a thread anywhere on the net slating a mini... Of any kind or the amount iof tacky parts it may have. Im a GENUINE mini enthusiast.
peace

Calling a BMW mini tacky i think is wrong, the cars are a nice modern car and they drive very well, where most of you calling them tacky haven't driven them I'm guessing. The problem is with BMW them selves for taking the mini name not the cars or owners them selves IMO.

Im glad somebody agrees with me. YOur not allowed to say kind of thing on here though, i rememer i started that thread saying why does everyone hate them, and everybody was like, because there tacky cheap looking Sh|t bassically, and there not, compared to most modern affordable cars they are very high quality and are very interesting inside, its not just a black dash, they have style.
