I always knew it was possible since I had to replace one of my wiper arms and ended up with a hook ended one which took stadard fitment blades. I thought the only reason no one had done it before was because of the small blades not being availiable but you've sorted that problem!I'm hoping they do a better job than the mini ones at high speed! over 80 in the rain the mini ones do nothing and I have to just about stop. the mini ones also lift terribly at anything above 60 or so, so these should be a worthwhile investment!
Has anyone else done this before at all? I've been looking for a way to do it for ages, and only realised it would be possible when i saw a mid 90's mini with the hook ended arms, so got searching on ebay for the blades
Pics of them fitted comming on friday night
I've just ordered a pair off eBay, I'll have to go to the local Mini parts man and get a second hook ended wiper arm as well (one of mine is still the rubbish thin bendy type, which I don't reccomend as someone snapped my other one and used it to pick the door lock).
Even if they only do a similar job, they look damn cool.

if you cant fit 2 12" blades on then use a 12 and an 11, then you have 1 set spare

I swear there are some existing already? there are 3 fins on the wiper blade arm, not the wiper blade itself. I think I've seen them on a few clubbys..
I think you're thinking about the nasty windscreen wiper spoillers you can get.

id say paint one black and one anthracite and see which looks better then spray the other one to match the colour you like

you need wipers with the hook type ends like modern cars have, which use the traditional hinge joined wiper blades. then you need a retrofit aero blade designed as an upgrade over standard wipers for a car with the same size blades

You don't need the newer wiper arms. There are some aero blades available for the older style arms with the bayonet fitting, i've had some in my cupboard at home for ages, but was just waiting for my current ones to wear

The older wiper arms are the perfect lock pick, do you want them 3ft from your door locks when a thief is checking your car out, as personally, I want those wiper arms to be under the sea!

Those blades aren't cheap! I didn't pay more than a tenner for my pair posted!

But you've still got to factor in the cost for a new (or used) set of wiper arms
