im still awaiting the arrival of my new front/brace bars and miglia arches!!,i was hoping they'd turn up on friday but im thinking they should be here sometime this week :D .

sat evening i drove up to "delsangels" and picked up a few bits

-7x13 superlight deepdish wheels with yoko a539's
-pair black bucket seat's with subframes
-mig welder with gas and wire

thankyou del they will look great on my mini and im sure the welder will come in to it's own somewhere with FRK

i've got to work on monday so im hoping to get a start this week sometime as im gagging to get FRK back on the road asap!

oh i have decided to go with a 6point cage with doorbars and rear diagonal but that will wait till after xmas

thanx for the comment  i was thinking it's getting a bit quiet in here :dontgetit: ,the rocker cover i sprayed in the back of my van at the side of the road whilst working on FRK,and being honest that was my 3rd attempt as the paint kept reacting :dontgetit: ,

i look foward to getting him sorted just weather here is freezing and i have no cosy garage to work in,i work outside most days and by the time i get a chance to do something i just want a cuppa t and get back indoors :(

Understandable, its been rather cold around here as well. Just can't wait for spring/summer to come as it makes me more motivated to get outside and get to work on the items that need fixing.

hopefully i can drag my lazy rear end out of bed at a early hour tomorrow and start making some progress here with my mini,i picked up my spare engine the other day ready for cleaning/servicing a new unleaded head and a lick of paint.

i've been thinking too as i want FRK back on the road asap im just going to concentrate on getting the engine swapped over, fit my new wheels/arches and give him a little tidy up, get my bucket seats in there too.

i really want to do my f/g front but i'd rather wait till i have a nice garage to work in and that way i wont rush it and end up doing a bad job, seems a sensible idea to me?

Certainly seems a sensible idea, I'd hate to have had to work on my car outside... my garage isn't much but at least it's a bit more sheltered.
