As you are a commerinner I can guess it was at either a "Whose afraid of the Big Black track" event or Mini 40?

But you are going to have to give me a clue.

Hi, are the rear arms from a Metro ? It's been years since I have seen any off a car like that. How are the shock/springs attached to them ?

Bolts ;) easier to remove the shocks that with studs.

Interesting thanks. I remember people using Metro trailing arms years ago, there was a surplus of them about then though.

Seems strange that they would as they would give very strange width if fitted in normal position as the kick out way more than the mini and the arm axel is way shorter. So only really fit to a custom rear beam and turreted rear.

Not a simple fit.

Mmm killed an angle grinder tonight. And two is not enough so shopping tomorrow for the cheapest I can find.

Also need some cardboard to make a template for new boot floor.

Just doing what I should have done years ago. Or what I wanted to do years ago.

Would have been so much simpler with a new shell.

One thing I will say my welding it getting better.
