Mmm been trying to read the rules and regs.

Interesting. Current first read looks like I might have to fit a Cat. Replace the fibre glass and carry 190kg of ballast. Ok I can go up to 1400cc as well.

I think I will need to sit down with someone who knows the rules and the language.

Next jobs are reinstating a metal floor. And redo the seat mounting frame. Then tie the rear beam into the rollcage frame a big more.

Damn there is a Minimum weight limit for the class. and my car is 100kg too light.

 

and I was thinking of some nice light weight aero parts but it looks like they will need to be cast Iron!

Put that scrap in the 4X bag and strap it into the car for balast!

Well took a day off work as I need to change the front fog like and a side light on the Suzuki.

To do either of these jobs needs the front bumper to be removed.
Not been off since it was bipuilt in 2007. So just about every threaded item broke. Fun.

But after a day praying about with all that I had further thoughts on the new boot floor.

Steel going in as the car is too light for the class anyway.

What's it weighing in at and what series are you looking at racing in?

it was weighing in at 550kg. I was Hillclimbing for a Few years and it is MSA logbooked. But I am now looking at racing Outside of the UK.
