well as you may have seen i fitted the common a garden spring kit brackets but i was not too sure as they are designed to have the spring mounted between the uprights.

here is what i had on the car before. some very early Proto parts from Huddersfield Mini Spares (as he was back then)

zGCnRa7.jpg

so as you can see the long piece is just a spacer both end pieces fitted to allow clamping forces.

so todays job.

had to get the wind machine on today.

NijWaFg.jpg

sorting out some cables while having a bit of Macgyver on the screen

LcUZ26U.jpg

fitted a remote starting button as some of you might know starting a race engine when you are not sat in the seat can be a bit of a dance.

WPx5W3V.jpg

also finally got around to fitting the switchs i ordered last year from Wired by Wilson. currently it seems i only actually needed one.but i think i will have it sorted tomorrow with a single wipe as well as continuous wipe and park.

jNFIm6E.jpg

just need to apply what i put last time, had issues getting the motor to move this time.

 so motor is M8

control relay K30

ignition live BKVT (park function power

BU trigger and continuous running

relay to be replace by switches.

main OFF/ON/ON as i do not want a live up front if not doing anything. (would be cut off by big switch anyway)

First On will activate BKVT wire and also go to a OFF/MOM switch to the BU wire to give a wipe and park.

Second ON  will give continuous wipe via the BU and park when turned off one click.
