I will set up a thread eventually don't worry. I had a good day yesterday at the show, i will stay both days in the future though, because one day wasn't enough. Got all the bit's i committed to from other buggy owners, like a pair of hubs, a pair of golf mk 2 rear calipers, an engine cover, and finally, a pair of adjustable tie rods for the back. :P :teehee: :P  :D :teehee:

Time for a bit of an update really, just got in from doing the rear suspension, now she sits on all four :teehee: . And today was the first time I've been out on her since last Saturday as I havn't been very well again :P , but on the mend now :) . Hoping to get a bit more done to the interior tomorrow, and get a Mini Spares order going, as I havn't placed one for a few weeks :gimme: .

Thought of a few ideas for the rear boot release, and central locking, just need to get some small, strong and thin'ish steel or something from B&Q, and I can get cracking on that, really the only I'm trying to get done is the engine, everything else is nearly there now  .

Hopefully more updates tomorrow  .

Haha no, decided not to as it looks just the same as the other side :teehee: .

Forgot to mention, the metal sleve thing that holds the suspension onto the wheel hub, etc, had got left behind when I took the old ones off, so spent ages trying to get that off, then Dad came along, and as usual, had it off in about 10mins :gimme: lol. And also had trouble with the old knuckle joint cup, but nothing a little fire couldn't sort out :P . Just glad its all done now  .

Also had a look at the front end, at to be honest its not too bad, might fill the few imperfections, or might not, probs will though for the amount of effort it takes  . But that should hopefully be done by the end of the weekend, he says lol.

As James said its still at MED at the moment :teehee: , just trying to sort out some pistons, and yes, I am using a micra boot release, the handle has been mounted, just need a new boot lid to get the latch set up :gimme: .

Haha no, shes riding high at the moment lol, just wanted to get all of them on, still think the shock is way to close to the Hi-Lo and stuff :gimme: . Going to have to keep an eye on it.

No luck with the pistons I'm affraid, really not sure what to do, or get :teehee: .

Did a little more today, but didn't get as much time as I wanted though :dontgetit: . Had to get my hair cut :P , and it kept raining on and off, so I couldn't do anything to the front end :dontgetit: .

So all I really got done today was the washer bottle fitted:

I like it where it is, its out the way, but easy to get too. Cut most of the excess tubing off and fitted the one way valve :P .

Also this is how the front end is looking at the moment:

Will hopefully get some of the front done tomorrow, really hoping to get the imperfections filled, sanded down and re-primed, but we'll see :P .

Hoping to get some of the interior back in tomorrow, not sure how much yet though ;) , will get the heater back in, washed the piece of carpet that goes behine it earlier, so that will be nice and clean ;) , and hopefully get the soundproofing finished, and hopefully by the end of next week, the boot will be finished, but everything can change :D .

Looking good, another thing to tick off the list.

Take a look at this, I know its for fitting electric windows, but in the last picture i noticed a solenoid for central locking. Thought it may help!! :D

EDIT: forgot to include the LINK!! lol
